AFCON has established a new standard in Port operations.
The HARMONY GATEWAY is a complete solution for the processing of the trucks bringing goods/containers to the seaport. Integrating a wide range of identification devices, and security elements, the system checks and directs the driver to his proper destination. The system also allows for failed checks which are routed for further processing.
The result of implementing this system is 250% increase in gate traffic, and complete debottle-necking of the entrance to the port, by acheiving a throughput processing time of not more than one minute per truck.
Linked to the Terminal Operating System (TOS), the GATEWAY system orients the truck driver through his assignment inside the port, rendering the whole process as the most efficient and secure in the industry.
Due to the complete audit trail of the whereabouts of the goods, ships arriving from a "Harmonized" port save the waiting time usually required for inspection at the destination port.
